CornerStone Cubed recommends the following information resource centers as good places to find topics about strategy, sales, value, and generic business practices.  C3 doesn’t promote the information sources as the only resource centers that could be used.  C3 is not affiliated with any of these organizations, we just believe they are good resource centers.

The Wharton Business School produces a newsletter that’s can be subscribed to for free.  It contains links to other sources as well.  You can be notified by eMail when new articles are available.  Practical material.

strategy + business is a magazine and website produced by the Booz, Allen, and Hamilton consulting firm.  Sign up for eMail notification as to when new articles are available.

destination CRM contains subjects about sales, marketing, and customer relations.  You can sign up for newsletters that are sent out frequently.  Also, this site contains links to their other partner sites, such as KMWorld - Knowledge Management.

SalesVantage.com is the Internet's only Web Directory & Newsfeed designed exclusively for Sales, Marketing & Advertising Executives. The Newsfeed is e-mailed 2x week & includes only current & relevant business articles from top business publications such as Technology Marketing, CIO, Time Europe, FAST Company, Far Eastern Review and many more. Good place to get marketing information and articles (short, but informative for the most part).  It used to be free but now visitors are limited to a limited amount of articles unless you pay a membership fee for access to restricted content.  You must sign up in order to get a periodic eMail to inform you of what’s new.  I use it for the articles.

BNET is a management information site covering, in addition to management topics, strategy, work life, and insight.  Their slogan, “The go-to-place for management,” gives an accurate flavor of its content.  I find the articles to be short, but well written and on point.  Good topics are covered on a regular basis.  You can sign up for an email alert to latest content.

The Aberdeen Group’s research teams provide technology solution providers and enterprises with fact-based research, professional training, and advisory services.  They constantly send out reports covering today’s relevant business issues.  There’s a free trial period that concludes with, if you want to continue reading their reports, a membership requirement.

Catalyst Performance Selling, founded by CEO Tim McMahon, developed an online community dedicated to sales, sales management and marketing professionals.  The value you gain from joining this community (at no cost) lies in Tim and his associates’ expertise, their on-line learning tools, and, needless to say, the experience of the entire community.

The American Marketing Association has their MarketingPower.com website that full of useful tools and information on most, if not all, marketing subjects.

The CustomerThink mission says it well: To help business leaders succeed with Customer Relationship Management (CRM), through high-quality articles, discussion, newsletters and online events; interactions with CRMGuru expert panelists; and insightful industry benchmark reports.  Good authors, blogs, news and articles.

INSEAD is a European based business school.  I find some of the information in its knowledge center to be useful.  The authors of Blue Ocean Strategy are professors at the school.  The link is to the school’s knowledge center and from there you can visit other sections of its website.

Erin designed my logo and corporate holiday cards and advises me regularly on issues of design and image content for our “visual” oriented world.  Take a look at her site to “see” her messages for logos, brand identity, packaging, and more.

Carrie used her talents to design my “cube” and many retired “images” to signify my message (changed product names means changed images).  She, too is a trusted advisor on the subject of conveying messages through “visual” means.  Carrie’s artwork can be viewed at her site.

Richard Butterfoss has 35 years invested in Graphic Communications as a teacher, producer, and film maker.   His services, focusing on small to medium businesses and individuals, include Corporate Promotional Videos, DVD Resumes, converting ”taped movies,” slides, and pictures to CDs and DVDs.  Rich has just won the “28th Telly Award” for his production of “Twisted Logic,” a documentary on an artist and his work.
